Observations: The inscription which records his personal name and patronymic mentions that he was χρηστός. This epithet is, according to Alexandru Avram (see ISM I 163), specific for foreigners and slaves (in Attica), but he argues that the personal name of this individual does not make it possible for him to be a slave.
